Cloud Engineer – Multi‑cloud & DevOps (HK)

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with strong multi‑cloud and DevOps expertise to support a well‑known enterprise in Hong Kong. The role focuses on designing, automating and maintaining Azure and Alibaba Cloud environments while ensuring high availability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise Azure and Alibaba Cloud resources.
• Implement Site Reliability Engineering practices to keep IT systems stable.
• Develop and maintain automation pipelines using Azure DevOps, Terraform and Ansible Automation Platform.
• Automate cloud provisioning (Azure & Alibaba Cloud) with Terraform and ServiceNow.
• Create runbooks, architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
• Deliver hybrid projects that span cloud and on‑premises infrastructure.
• Oversee servers, databases, SAN storage, data protection and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Monitor housekeeping jobs, perform health checks and conduct DR drills.
• Provide after‑hours support and first‑level incident diagnosis.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the team leader.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, automation or platform operations.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Terraform Associate, Alibaba Cloud ACA/ACP) are a plus.

Required skills

• Azure and Alibaba Cloud platforms.
• Azure DevOps, Terraform, Ansible Automation Platform.
• Scripting with PowerShell, Bash and Python.
• ServiceNow catalog and workflow (preferred).
• Monitoring with Datadog and event‑driven Ansible automation.
• Administration of Windows, Linux, MS SQL databases and networking components.
