About the role
The Commis III will support the Executive Chef and senior chefs in the Western Banquet Kitchen, ensuring daily food preparation meets hotel standards and guest expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist senior chefs in the smooth operation of the banquet kitchen.
- Prepare food daily according to business requirements.
- Check inventory quality, control stock levels, and ensure proper rotation to avoid waste.
- Balance cost control with food quality.
- Maintain hygiene and safety in line with HACCP standards.
- Utilise food surpluses and leftovers efficiently.
- Introduce and test new market‑oriented products.
- Recycle food waste and manage kitchen staffing as needed.
