Communications Manager

About the role

The Communications Manager will provide strategic communication counsel to business partners operating in the Hong Kong market. This role shapes the overall communication strategy, builds media relationships, and ensures consistent brand messaging across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Provide communication strategic counseling to business partners in Hong Kong.
• Define and prioritize communication needs, identify opportunities, and develop overarching strategies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with press and journalists covering relevant territories.
• Design content strategy, manage the content calendar, and produce compelling communication materials.
• Handle communications during crisis situations and manage media enquiries and interviews.
• Coordinate and negotiate with PR agencies for events, issues, and other activities.
• Collaborate with global and local teams to plan and execute integrated communication campaigns.

Required profile

• Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Translation, Business, Finance or a related field.
• Approximately 8 years of experience, preferably in corporate communications or public relations.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas concisely.
• Previous experience in the finance industry is a plus.
