Construction Manager (3‑year Contract)

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead the implementation of HKHS site‑team policies across assigned construction sites. This 3‑year contract role ensures projects are delivered on time, to quality standards, and in full compliance with safety and statutory regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement HKHS site‑team management policies and procedures at assigned sites.
• Monitor contractor performance, site progress, and maintain project timelines.
• Identify and resolve delays, discrepancies, conflicts, or other anomalies, coordinating with relevant parties.
• Endorse the selection of consultant resident site staff.
• Oversee handover processes for completed projects to other divisions.
• Follow up on complaints and supervise defect‑rectification works.
• Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and statutory regulations.

Required profile

• Degree in Building, Engineering, Architecture or a related construction discipline.
• Professional qualifications such as MCIOB, MHKICM, MHKIE or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of construction management experience, including managerial positions.
• Proven experience managing residential projects from inception to final handover.
• Familiarity with construction site safety, environmental legislation, and relevant regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and supervisory skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Cantonese.
