Construction Superintendent

About the role

Arup is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead site supervision on a large‑scale, multi‑disciplinary project located on Airport Island. The role involves overseeing daily construction activities, ensuring compliance with the TCP‑T3 requirements, and coordinating with the broader design and engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise on‑site construction works and enforce the TCP‑T3 role as defined by the Building Ordinance.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary trades, monitor progress, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Manage site safety, documentation, and reporting in line with Arup’s procedures.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain project schedules and support the delivery of the construction programme.

Required profile

• Higher Certificate, Higher Diploma or Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in site supervision of large projects.
• Qualified for TCP‑T3 under the Building Ordinance.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Valid driving licence and proficient IT skills.
