Consultant - Financial Services

About the role

Flint is a leading advisory firm serving clients navigating regulation, policy and politics. We are seeking a Consultant with experience in financial services public policy to join our fast‑growing Asia‑Pacific team in Hong Kong, supporting client work and business development.

Key responsibilities

• Support clients on public policy, politics, regulation and commercial strategy within the financial services sector.
• Research, analyse and develop options for complex policy challenges, providing strategic recommendations.
• Engage with senior client stakeholders, including board members and executive teams, across a range of sectors.
• Project‑manage client teams, prioritising, planning and scheduling tasks under tight deadlines.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in financial services, government institutions, regulators or major consulting firms.
• Strong understanding of regulation, policy‑making and politics affecting the financial sector.
• Excellent analytical, research and problem‑solving abilities, with clear written and oral communication skills.
• Fluency in English; additional regional language skills (Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, Bahasa) are a plus.
