About the role
ICBC (Asia) is seeking a Counter Service Officer / Manager to join its retail banking network in Hong Kong. The role involves handling over‑the‑counter transactions, delivering high‑quality customer service, and promoting the bank’s product portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Process a wide range of cash and non‑cash transactions for customers at the counter.
- Provide accurate and courteous service, ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
- Identify customer needs and actively promote relevant bank products and services.
- Maintain transaction records and reconcile daily balances.
- Support junior staff and assist in training when required.
Required profile
- Secondary education or higher.
- No prior experience required for the Counter Service Assistant level.
- For the Officer/Manager level, at least 1–3 years of experience as a bank teller or in a similar counter‑service role.
- Customer‑oriented attitude with a pleasant demeanor.
- Fluent in both Chinese and English.
