Customer Engagement Officer

About the role

WeLab is looking for a proactive Customer Engagement Officer to join its digital banking team in Hong Kong. You will be the front‑line contact for personal loan applicants, handling end‑to‑end service from KYC verification to deal closure while delivering a high‑quality, compliant customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process personal loan applications, conduct KYC checks and ensure timely deal closure.
• Respond to inbound customer enquiries and recommend suitable products.
• Make warm outbound calls to existing customers using provided call lists.
• Maintain professionalism and compliance throughout the customer journey, adhering to HKMA and AML regulations.

Required profile

• Form 5 graduate or higher with at least 1 year of telemarketing or customer service experience.
• Fluent in Cantonese with basic English and Mandarin proficiency.
• Willingness to work shifts, including Saturdays.
• Strong telephone communication skills and a customer‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy, including Chinese and English typing.
• Knowledge of HKMA regulatory requirements and KYC/AML procedures.
