Customer Service & Operations Assistant

About the role

Wonder is a fast‑growing payments gateway and FinTech platform operating across Hong Kong, Singapore and the Asia‑Pacific region. The Customer Service and Operations Assistant/Officer will provide daily operational support, handle merchant enquiries and work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive operational support across multiple channels, responding to customer enquiries with empathy and professionalism.
• Assist merchants with service sign‑up, onboarding and account setup while gathering referrals to drive acquisition.
• Collaborate with the sales team to follow up on prospective merchant leads and convert enquiries into active accounts.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, process account information and file relevant documents.
• Work a 5‑day shift schedule to ensure consistent service coverage and operational continuity.

Required profile

• Experience in customer care, support, call‑centre or sales within a B2B environment; fintech, software or payments experience is a plus.
• Customer‑oriented, self‑motivated, detail‑focused and positive.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities; effective team player.
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), including Chinese word processing.
