Cybersecurity Developer

About the role

As a Cybersecurity Developer in our Hong Kong office, you will design, implement and configure security incident response solutions within SOAR platforms. You will work closely with SOC analysts to translate operational needs into automated workflows and playbooks, leveraging AI and machine learning to boost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Engage regularly with security analysts to understand their challenges and requirements.
• Design, implement and configure solutions on Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR and Chronicle SOAR platforms.
• Build and maintain automated SOC workflows, incident‑response playbooks, and supporting tools.
• Develop utilities that serve multiple teams while ensuring secure access management and network connectivity.
• Provide technical support, guidance and training to cyber‑defense analysts.
• Apply AI/ML techniques to improve SOC quality and operational speed.

Required profile

• Engineering degree, master’s in cybersecurity or a relevant development diploma; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Dynamic, autonomous, and eager to explore new cybersecurity technologies.
• Strong curiosity, innovation mindset and self‑learning ability.
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Python, JavaScript, Bash.
• Operating systems and environments: Linux, Windows, Docker.
• SOAR tools: Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR, Chronicle SOAR (Google SecOps).
• Version control and project management: Git, Jira.
• Knowledge of systems, networks, databases and APIs.
