DevOps Engineer (SRE) – Azure Cloud Focus

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer (Site Reliability Engineer) to manage and optimise our multi‑cloud environment, primarily Azure and Alibaba Cloud, based in Hong Kong. You will ensure high availability, performance and security of our hybrid infrastructure while driving automation across the stack.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and manage Azure and Alibaba Cloud resources.
• Implement and operate automation tools such as Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Ansible Automation Platform.
• Automate cloud provisioning (Azure & Alibaba Cloud) using Terraform and ServiceNow.
• Develop end‑to‑end automation for BAU tasks and incident remediation with Ansible and Datadog.
• Create technical documentation, runbooks, architecture diagrams and automation standards.
• Deliver projects in hybrid environments focusing on high availability, performance and security.
• Oversee enterprise platforms including servers, databases, SAN storage, data protection and disaster recovery.
• Provide operational support, monitor housekeeping jobs, conduct health checks and run DR drills.
• Offer after‑hours support when required and perform first‑level problem diagnosis.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, automation or platform operations.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Terraform Associate, Alibaba Cloud ACA/ACP) are a plus.
