Digital Designer & Copywriter

About the role

SCMP is looking for a creative professional who can blend strong visual design with concise, compelling copy. You will primarily work on digital marketing assets and in‑product promotional moments, collaborating closely with product, marketing, subscription and editorial teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and produce digital campaign assets such as banners, EDMs, social posts, landing‑page visuals and ads, as well as in‑app promotional elements like subscription prompts and paywall messages.
• Write short‑form marketing copy for campaign banners, email headlines, subject lines and social captions, ensuring tone and impact.
• Adapt creative assets for multiple platforms and formats, build reusable templates, and leverage AI tools to generate variations at scale.
• Support occasional branding projects and small print assignments, maintaining consistency with SCMP’s visual identity.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in graphic or digital design, preferably in‑house, agency or media environments.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong digital marketing work and short‑form copywriting.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and deliver quickly.
• Clear, punchy written English with a feel for tone that drives clicks.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Figma.
• Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Comfortable using AI tools for creative production.
