Director, Investment Advisory

About the role

Citi is seeking a senior professional to lead its Investment Advisory Support function in Hong Kong. The Director will shape strategic direction, collaborate with product, specialist and advisor teams, and translate market insights into actionable client opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Set the strategic vision and priorities for the Investment Advisory Support function.
• Partner closely with Product, Specialist and Advisor teams to convert investment themes, market developments and product solutions into actionable opportunities for frontline teams and clients.
• Collaborate with Specialists and Advisors on high‑net‑worth client engagements, portfolio reviews and investment discussions, providing advisory expertise and solutioning for complex needs.
• Act as a spokesperson for the bank, engaging with media, clients and industry forums.
• Represent the Investment business at client seminars and external events, reinforcing Citi’s advisory capabilities.
• Drive the delivery of client‑centric advisory material and support the growth of the investment business.

Required profile

• High‑caliber professional with extensive experience in wealth and investment advisory services.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills for client, media and industry engagements.
• Experience working with affluent and high‑net‑worth clients.
