Drama Teacher – ESF Secondary Schools (Expression of Interest)

About the role

The English Schools Foundation is seeking enthusiastic Drama Teachers for its secondary schools for the 2026/2027 academic year. You will develop students' academic and performance abilities, foster confidence, and create engaging theatrical experiences both inside and outside the classroom.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver drama curriculum that develops academic and performance skills.
• Lead students in a variety of theatrical productions, including extracurricular performances.
• Engage and motivate all learners, including those who are initially resistant.
• Support students in building confidence both onstage and in everyday life.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a subject degree with a PGCE/PGDE.
• Understanding of the MYP and related curriculum frameworks is advantageous.
• Newly qualified teachers or those with teaching experience in a recognised educational institute.
• iPGCE (assessment only) does not meet Hong Kong Education Bureau registration requirements.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of drama teaching methodologies.
• Ability to organise and direct school productions.
