About the role

Wallbrook, part of Anthesis Group, is looking for experienced researchers to join its global Business Intelligence team in Hong Kong. The role involves conducting open‑source and human‑intelligence investigations, producing high‑quality analytical reports, and supporting senior management and clients with briefings.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex open‑source and human‑intelligence investigative assignments, including pre‑transactional integrity due‑diligence checks.
• Write concise, contextualised reports and deliver written and verbal briefings to senior management and clients.
• Prepare proposals for new business and support the development of a human source network.
• Assist in training new team members and proofreading reports once familiar with house style and methodology.

Required profile

• Fluency in English (commercial) and business proficiency in Mandarin; additional languages a plus.
• 1‑4 years full‑time post‑graduate experience in corporate intelligence or a related investigative field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited university.
• Strong interest in international affairs, business, and markets, especially in Japan and the region.

Required skills

• Proficiency with open‑source research tools such as LexisNexis and Factiva.
• Experience using regional and language‑specific databases and media sources.
• Professional use of the Microsoft Office Suite.
