Executive / Senior Executive - Claims

About the role

Howden, a global insurance intermediary group founded in 1994 and owned by its employees, is looking for an Executive or Senior Executive to run its day-to-day claims function in Hong Kong under the supervision of managers. The role covers client service, administration and training.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality claims advice, handling and guidance to clients, including professional advice on the claims process and answers to claims inquiries.
• Handle all classes of General Insurance claims and liaise with insurers, representatives and other service providers.
• Keep claims data up to date in the claims system and prepare claims reports and statistics.
• Support Account Management by giving claims-related information and taking on ad-hoc projects.
• Help manage each client's claims portfolio so that the best possible risk is represented on their behalf.
• Maintain all files, computer records and company records relevant to the job, in line with company direction and local requirements.
