Financial Controller – Private Equity – Hong Kong

About the role

Mondrian Alpha is partnering with a leading global private equity firm with over $20bn in assets under management. The firm is expanding across APAC and seeks a Financial Controller for its Hong Kong office to own a broad range of finance responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month‑end and year‑end close, financial and management reporting, statutory accounts and audit processes.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash management across APAC entities.
• Coordinate tax, treasury and regulatory matters with external advisers.
• Drive process improvements, strengthen controls and increase automation within the finance function.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with 5+ years post‑qualification experience.
• Experience in private equity, investment management or financial services, preferably within a Big Four firm.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
