Game Engineer

About the role

Nex is looking for a passionate Game Engineer to join its Hong Kong‑based team. You will help create family‑friendly, motion‑driven games for the Nex Playground platform, collaborating with designers and other engineers on multiple titles each year.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement game architecture, UI/UX, gameplay logic, and motion‑control algorithms.
• Develop internal tools that support rapid prototyping and iteration.
• Participate in game design sessions, create prototypes, and refine features based on play‑testing feedback.
• Research emerging technologies and share findings to drive team innovation.
• For senior engineers: lead project development, make key technical decisions, and coordinate cross‑disciplinary efforts.
