Hostess – Guest Service

About the role

Join the Sheraton family in Hong Kong as a Hostess, providing a warm welcome and seamless seating experience for guests in a busy hotel restaurant. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring every guest feels valued from the moment they arrive.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size, and escort them to clean, properly set tables.
• Arrange tables, chairs, and settings for individual guests and groups with special needs.
• Maintain clean menus, place settings, and overall dining area cleanliness throughout the shift.
• Monitor seating availability, safety, and guest well‑being in the dining room.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies and report any incidents.
• Answer telephone calls with professional etiquette and support team members to achieve common goals.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
• Capability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Clear, professional communication skills in English.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and presentable appearance.
