Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and support its global HR functions. This senior role will work closely with senior leadership to ensure HR practices align with the organisation’s strategic objectives and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional advice and support across talent acquisition, performance and reward management, employee relations and HR initiatives on a global scale.
• Assist in managing cross‑country compensation processes, including market benchmarking, annual pay trend reviews and promotion exercises.
• Handle staff cases and employee‑relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent and compliant outcomes.
• Support the formulation, review and implementation of HR policies in line with organisational goals and legal standards.
• Lead assigned HR projects and initiatives, driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent, preferably in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related fields.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in large organisations with exposure to compensation & benefits, performance management and employee relations.
• Experience supporting global or regional HR operations is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and Chinese.
• Resourceful, able to work under pressure with minimal supervision, and high integrity.
