Infrastructure Manager (Systems & Storage)

About the role

We are engaged by a global banking institution to identify a candidate for an Infrastructure Manager role. Reporting to the Global Infrastructure Lead at headquarters, the role is an individual contributor supporting business‑critical physical and virtual infrastructure across the APAC region.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop, configure, implement, administer and maintain systems and storage operations across the Asia Pacific region.
• Act as technology expert and vendor coordinator to ensure smooth operations and collaboration.
• Gather requirements, evaluate technologies and recommend solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd tier support for escalated cases, coordinating with vendors when necessary.
• Develop processes, documentation, metrics and reports to drive standardisation and ensure infrastructure compliance.
• Collaborate with managed‑services vendors on vulnerability/patch management, monitoring and conduct regular backup and restore drills.
• Specialise in systems and storage management on Azure, VMware and SAN/NAS storage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Over 8 years of experience working with physical and virtual infrastructure.
• More than 5 years managing Microsoft Azure and VMware environments.
• 5+ years handling enterprise SAN & NAS storage, storage fabrics, replication, backup and recovery solutions.
• Extensive experience supporting overseas working environments.
• Excellent English communication skills.
