IT Officer

About the role

Bloom KKCA Academy is seeking an experienced IT Officer to manage its school network, IT infrastructure and audiovisual (AV) systems. The role involves providing technical support to teachers, staff and students, ensuring smooth operation of digital learning tools and maintaining a secure, reliable technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the school network, IT systems and AV equipment, including setup of the intranet and Learning Management System.
• Provide hardware and software troubleshooting and technical assistance to teachers, staff and students.
• Support the preparation of teaching materials, research projects and collaborations with external partners.
• Manage e‑booking, e‑attendance and e‑payment platforms.
• Maintain inventory, install and configure IT and AV facilities, and coordinate service providers.
• Perform system analysis, configuration, preventive maintenance and software patch deployment.
• Conduct regular data backup, recovery and security updates.
• Provide video shooting, broadcasting and production support for school events.

Required profile

• Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience.
• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline.
