Junior Accountant

About the role

WORMS Safety is seeking a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to join its Finance team in Hong Kong. This hands‑on position covers full‑set accounting, month‑end reporting, audit support and daily finance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle full‑set accounting activities, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger and staff reimbursements.
• Prepare month‑end financial reports, supporting schedules and account breakdowns within tight deadlines.
• Perform bank reconciliations and inter‑company transaction/balance reconciliations.
• Coordinate with internal departments on accounting matters and daily financial transactions.
• Manage petty cash, payments and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate filing records, financial documentation and regular reporting.
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors, banks and other relevant parties.
• Provide general administrative support and handle ad‑hoc assignments as required.

Required profile

• Diploma holder or above in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in full‑set accounting.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of accounting and taxation standards and relevant labour regulations.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and deliver accurately under tight deadlines.
• Proactive, motivated, mature and stable with a strong sense of integrity and responsibility.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical and well‑organized.
• Collaborative team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
