Junior Engineer

About the role

Inhabit is seeking a motivated Junior Engineer to support facade and build‑ability consultancy projects. You will work closely with senior engineers, contributing to design, analysis, and documentation while gaining exposure to interdisciplinary collaboration across architecture, engineering, and sustainable design.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out design engineering for facades, including material selection and build‑ability assessments.
• Perform detailed engineering calculations and structural facade analyses.
• Prepare and maintain all façade documentation such as calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and calculations for compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of tender submissions.
• Communicate effectively with the design team and work autonomously when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in façade design engineering within a consultancy or contractor environment (fresh graduates with strong academic records are also considered).
• Familiarity with local façade codes and standards.
• Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and proactive work attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with façade and structural finite‑element software (e.g., Strand7, SAP2000).
• High proficiency in MS Office.
