Laboratory Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to support our testing laboratory. The role focuses on examining digital colorimetric data, operating spectrophotometer equipment, and ensuring accurate garment measurements in accordance with UL testing standards.

Key responsibilities

• Examine and evaluate digital colorimetric data for accuracy and compliance with testing standards.
• Operate, maintain, and perform basic calibration of spectrophotometer equipment used for color measurement.
• Conduct garment measurements following specified standards and testing procedures.
• Enter, update, and manage testing data in laboratory information systems.
• Prepare detailed test reports and maintain proper documentation of all results.
• Assist with sample handling and preparation for testing as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping of the laboratory area and equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting equipment, process, or form enhancements.

Required profile

• Associate degree or higher in a relevant scientific or technical field.
• Effective communication skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to innovate.

Required skills

• Spectrophotometer operation and basic calibration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to incorporate automation into routine testing.
• Data entry and management in laboratory systems.
