Lead - Cyber Security Architect

About the role

This senior, hands‑on position sits within the central security function of a well‑established organisation that operates extensive industrial and operational technology environments. The Lead Cyber Security Architect will shape and enforce security architecture across both corporate IT and OT domains.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the recognised authority on OT security, conducting architecture reviews against standards, regulations and internal policies.
• Provide technical direction for system hardening and secure design across hardware and software initiatives.
• Define, maintain and update security baseline requirements for new platforms and infrastructure.
• Guide end‑to‑end implementation of secure architectures, including configuration of security controls.
• Embed architectural assurance into business case reviews and evaluate security tooling with mixed teams.
• Steer delivery of security initiatives, support incident response, and mentor fellow architects.
• Manage vendors for project delivery and ongoing technical support.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in OT cyber security and security infrastructure design.
• Proven track record designing security architectures for IT, OT and converged environments.
• CISSP certification and a recognised security architecture credential (e.g., SABSA).
• Industrial‑focused security certification (e.g., GICSP).
• Strong vendor‑management experience with outcome‑based contracts.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese.
