Legal Counsel – Hong Kong Corporate & IP Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support for all Hong Kong‑based entities within our group. The role involves managing contracts, advising internal teams, and safeguarding the company’s intellectual property and compliance posture.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise and negotiate commercial contracts in Chinese and English, ensuring favorable terms and risk mitigation.
• Provide timely legal advice on labor relations, corporate governance, business cooperation, intellectual property and other matters.
• Oversee global intellectual property strategy, manage infringement issues and enforce rights.
• Monitor Hong Kong legal and regulatory developments, assess business impact and propose compliance measures.
• Identify compliance gaps, develop early‑warning mechanisms and support fiscal, tax and product compliance.
• Handle legal disputes in Hong Kong, devise solutions and drive implementation.
• Build and maintain relationships with external law firms and coordinate cross‑border legal resources.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law; Hong Kong practising lawyer qualification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of legal experience in Hong Kong or at a law firm.
• Strong communication, coordination, legal analysis and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven experience in contract review, IP protection and handling legal disputes.
• Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
