Legal Counsel – Senior Corporate & Compliance Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a senior Legal Counsel to act as a strategic partner for our Group. You will provide high‑level legal advice that influences business decisions, strengthens governance, and ensures compliance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver strategic legal counsel to senior management and cross‑functional teams on complex commercial, corporate, and compliance matters.
• Advise on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management, aligning legal advice with business objectives.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and proactively assess their impact on the Group.
• Contribute to the design, implementation, and training of legal policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 7‑8 years post‑qualification experience, preferably with both law‑firm and in‑house exposure.
• Experience in listed‑company compliance; familiarity with Hong Kong Listing Rules is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of commercial contracts, corporate law, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Highly organised, adaptable, capable of working independently while leading the legal function.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
