Logistics Manager

About the role

YAICHI is looking for a Logistics Manager to lead its international logistics operations, focusing on exports from Japan to the Greater China region and supporting both retail and e‑commerce channels.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage air, sea, and land freight for exports to Hong Kong, Taiwan and other global destinations.
• Oversee logistics for brick‑and‑mortar stores and B2C e‑commerce fulfillment, improving online‑to‑offline efficiency.
• Select, evaluate and manage 3PL providers, freight forwarders and couriers, handling contract negotiations and pricing.
• Own the shipping process, ensuring compliance with customs clearance, Letters of Credit, Bills of Lading and other documentation.
• Develop import/export strategies for diverse FMCG categories, addressing temperature control and special customs requirements.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Merchandising to align schedules, resolve delays and optimise the supply chain.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 5‑8 years of international logistics experience, including 2‑3 years in a managerial role.
• Hands‑on knowledge of export routes and customs clearance from Japan to Hong Kong/Taiwan.
• Experience in retail and B2C e‑commerce logistics, preferably in FMCG.
• Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin; Japanese language skills are a plus.
