Maintenance Manager – Facilities & Technical Operations

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑renowned coffee and bakery brand to recruit a Maintenance Manager who will oversee facilities management and technical maintenance across more than ten restaurant locations. Reporting to the Head of Operations, the role combines strategic planning with hands‑on problem solving to keep stores running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules in line with company and compliance standards.
• Manage on‑call reactive maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate contractors and tradespeople, monitoring work quality and timelines.
• Assist with shop fit‑outs, refurbishments, upgrades and new store projects.
• Perform general repairs, equipment testing and research personally.
• Maintain spare‑parts inventory and support supply‑chain coordination.
• Record all service activities, diagnoses and parts used in the tracking system.
• Escalate issues, propose improvements and keep documentation up to date.

Required profile

• 7–8 years of maintenance experience in catering, retail or a similar fast‑paced environment.
• Strong technical problem‑solving ability and enjoyment of hands‑on work.
• Proven leadership in managing scheduled maintenance and external contractors.
• Fluent in Cantonese and English, both written and spoken.
