Manager, AI Governance

About the role

Prudential is seeking a Manager, AI Governance to lead the implementation and execution of its AI Governance framework. The role ensures AI solutions are developed and used in a controlled, compliant, and risk‑aware manner while enabling responsible adoption across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance AI governance frameworks, policies and controls in line with regulatory and industry developments.
• Embed AI governance requirements into business operations, projects and AI initiatives.
• Oversee AI assessments, approvals, exceptions and escalations to ensure effective risk management.
• Support governance committees, management forums and regulatory engagements through reporting, material preparation and action tracking.
• Maintain AI inventories and oversee adoption of approved AI solutions across the organisation.
• Monitor AI risks, compliance, controls and key risk indicators, driving timely remediation and improvements.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Studies, Cyber Security, Risk Management or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience, including 3‑4 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Experience in banking, insurance or technology companies.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, ethics and associated risk.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Ability to present IT risk to senior management.
