Manager / Assistant Manager, Agency Recruitment & Development

About the role

Manulife is looking for a Manager or Assistant Manager for its Agency Recruitment and Development function. The role focuses on recruitment assessment and recommendations for industry and bank profiles, working with agency managers and directors to deliver timely, quality recruitment and to support manpower growth.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and recommend candidates for industry and bank profiles
• Work with agency managers and Agency Directors to complete recruitment processes on time and prepare offer letters
• Track special-profile recruits with monthly reports on new agents' productivity and retention
• Monitor recruitment performance of managers and prepare reports on recruitment contests and campaigns
• Run recruitment analysis for management review to monitor recruitment pipelines
• Support recruitment initiatives and run regular recruitment events

Required profile

• Degree in finance-related subjects, preferably FLMI holder; at least 8 years of insurance experience with good understanding of tied agencies (less experienced candidates considered as Assistant Manager)
• Experience in tied agency training preferred
• Good knowledge of agency operations and systems
• Team player able to work under tight deadlines, organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese; fluent Mandarin is an added advantage
