Manager, Employee Communications

About the role

The Employee Communications Manager will lead the delivery of change and community engagement communications across the Club’s operations in Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland. This role ensures two‑way dialogue, tailored messaging and strong digital community interaction to support the Club’s transformation agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute communication plans that drive understanding and adoption of organisational change for both office and frontline staff.
• Produce clear, engaging updates for leaders and employee groups, adapting content to cultural nuances in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
• Manage digital communities on platforms such as Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp and WeChat, fostering interaction and moderating discussions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and maintain communication calendars and editorial plans.
• Create multi‑channel content including infographics, videos, newsletters, digital screens and event materials.
• Partner on employee surveys, translate insights into actionable plans and provide tracking support for improvement.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree or equivalent qualifications.
• 8‑10 years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, digital community management, content creation, design or journalism.
• Proven ability to translate corporate or HR strategies into actionable employee engagement initiatives for diverse audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with both Hong Kong and Mainland Chinese employee groups.
