Manager - Training, Learning & Development

About the role

As a Manager – Training, Learning & Development you will lead the design and delivery of frontline learning initiatives across McDonald’s restaurants in Hong Kong. Reporting to the Director – RSG, you will partner with Operations Leaders, Restaurant Management Teams and the People Department to build capability, drive leadership development and improve training effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement learning and development strategies aligned with business objectives and restaurant performance.
• Identify capability gaps, design training programs and create development pathways that support operational priorities.
• Partner with Operations Leaders to provide performance consulting, improve capability and maximise QSC&V results.
• Lead, coach and develop the Training, Learning & Development team, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of learning initiatives, analyse performance trends and recommend actions to enhance business outcomes.
• Manage market‑wide training projects, learning events, vendors and learning tools to ensure effective delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Education or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, Operations or related industries, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing training solutions that deliver measurable business impact.
