Membership Director, Asia

About the role

The Membership Director, Asia will lead the growth, acquisition and retention of Soho House members across key Asian locations including Hong Kong, Mumbai, Bangkok and Tokyo. Reporting to regional leadership, you will shape membership strategy, drive revenue targets and ensure a world‑class member experience that reflects Soho House’s creative spirit.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver annual membership budget and meet quarterly targets for new applications and retention.
• Develop and execute regional membership strategies focused on acquisition and retention for each House.
• Lead, coach and manage membership teams across Asia, ensuring clear plans and collaboration with House General Managers.
• Partner with Member Events teams to create programming that drives both acquisition and member value.
• Analyse retention metrics and member survey data to continuously improve satisfaction and identify growth opportunities.
• Strengthen Membership Committees and promote diversity within the member community.
• Collaborate with the Cities Without Houses team to align membership and event strategies regionally.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing high‑performing teams in a multi‑regional environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across diverse cultures and creative industries.
• Track record of meeting membership or subscription growth targets.
• Strategic thinker with a data‑driven approach to retention and member experience.
