Membership Services Assistant – Hotline (1‑Year Temp)

About the role

The Membership Services Department of the Hong Kong Jockey Club is seeking a proactive Membership Services Assistant to operate the 7‑day Members Services Hotline. This temporary, one‑year position supports 29,000 members and their families by handling inquiries, reservations, and mobile‑app technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Answer hotline calls in Cantonese and English, providing timely assistance and telesales support.
• Process raceday and non‑raceday reservations for members.
• Deliver mobile‑app technical support following club policies.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure member requests are addressed and followed up.
• Record and follow up on member feedback and complaints.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• University degree with at least one year of experience in a service‑oriented environment.
• Previous call‑centre experience is an advantage.
• Fluent spoken Cantonese and English; written English required.
• Basic written Chinese and spoken Mandarin are beneficial.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Customer Management System.
• Hands‑on experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to type Chinese characters efficiently.
