Operational Excellence Intern – APAC (Part‑time)

About the role

Join Zurich's APAC Operational Excellence team as a part‑time intern, supporting simplification and automation projects across the region. You will work closely with business users to gather requirements, assist in functional design, and help develop solutions using Microsoft Power tools.

Key responsibilities

• Support the APAC Operational Excellence Team in delivering simplification and automation projects.
• Gather requirements from users and assist with functional design.
• Develop solutions using Microsoft PowerApps, PowerBI, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
• Participate in “As‑Is” and “To‑Be” business process sessions with users.
• Support business process mapping and documentation.

Required profile

• Undergraduate studies in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong interest in business analysis, operational excellence and process re‑engineering.
• Good communication and presentation skills in English.
• Availability to work a minimum of two days per week.
• Experience with Microsoft product offerings such as PowerApps, PowerBI, Power Automate, SharePoint.
• Basic knowledge of process mapping tools (Visio, Mural) is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
