Platform Engineer, DevOps

About the role

MoneyHero Limited is seeking a Platform Engineer, DevOps to own the architecture and roadmap of its cloud platform. You will drive key infrastructure decisions, set engineering standards, and mentor engineers across teams while supporting AI‑powered fintech products.

Key responsibilities

• Own the architecture and roadmap of the cloud platform, defining technical direction.
• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, cost‑efficient AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPCs) with high availability and disaster recovery.
• Develop and maintain Terraform configurations for Infrastructure as Code.
• Manage and scale Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, overseeing deployment and operation of containerised workloads.
• Implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD for fully automated Kubernetes deployments.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment and monitoring.
• Own core networking, including VPC design, routing, DNS, load balancing and security controls.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) to ensure infrastructure health.
• Provision and operate AI infrastructure, including managed AI services and secure API key management.
• Apply cloud security best practices, manage IAM roles, encrypt data and support compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Experience owning cloud platform architecture and technical direction.
• Proven ability to design and manage large‑scale AWS environments.
• Hands‑on expertise with Terraform, Kubernetes/EKS and GitOps (ArgoCD).
• Strong background in CI/CD pipeline development and networking design.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and CloudWatch.
