Procurement Manager

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead end‑to‑end supply chain operations, focusing on strategic sourcing, supplier performance and new business opportunities. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, the manager ensures timely and cost‑effective delivery of products.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full supply chain process from procurement to product delivery, develop strategies to reduce costs and meet customer demand, and monitor inventory levels.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate favorable terms, and achieve an on‑time delivery rate of over 95%.
• Analyse market intelligence for tenders, negotiate pricing and conditions, and coordinate sample submissions to meet tender requirements.
• Execute purchasing of finished dosage forms, ensuring quality, price and timeliness while supporting tender submissions.
• Develop strategies for new product introductions and supplier onboarding, attend overseas exhibitions to expand the supplier network.
• Collaborate with internal teams (planning, regulatory, artwork, design) and external partners (CMOs, logistics) to resolve packaging and supply issues and support demand forecasting.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and optimise shipment arrangements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management and new business development, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management capabilities with experience in global sourcing and contract negotiations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally and represent the company at trade shows and exhibitions.
• Proficiency with supply chain management software and tools.
