About the role

The Department of Business Administration at Hong Kong Chu Hai College is seeking a dynamic academic leader to serve as Professor or Associate Professor and Head of Department. This senior position combines teaching, research, and administrative leadership to advance the college’s mission of nurturing future leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate, postgraduate and MBA courses with innovative pedagogical approaches.
• Design, review and update curricula to align with current business trends and industry needs.
• Lead accreditation activities such as LPA and re‑LPA, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Develop digital and experiential learning resources to support diverse student populations.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Conduct high‑impact research, publish in peer‑reviewed journals and present at conferences.
• Secure external research funding and collaborate with industry and community partners.
• Participate in departmental and faculty meetings and contribute to academic administration.

Required profile

• PhD in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA or Certified Management Consultant are highly valued.
• Proven tertiary teaching experience, including MBA‑level instruction.
• Strong record of publications in recognised peer‑reviewed journals.
• Demonstrated ability to innovate teaching methods and improve student learning outcomes.
• Leadership, interpersonal and team‑building skills.
