Programme Officer – Talent Development & Gifted Education

About the role

The Programme Officer will lead the design, implementation and evaluation of talent development programmes for gifted students within the Academy’s framework. This role combines curriculum development, student coaching, and programme management to foster whole‑person development, academic excellence and future‑skills competencies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, revamp and deliver a portfolio of talent‑development programmes, exhibitions and competitions aligned with the Academy’s strategic objectives.
• Coach gifted students through project‑based, collaborative and self‑directed learning experiences, providing academic advising, mentorship and pathway planning.
• Facilitate student participation in local, regional, national and international competitions, conferences, research projects and specialised enrichment opportunities.
• Oversee programme logistics, budgeting, service‑provider coordination and placement criteria, ensuring smooth enrolment, scheduling and risk management.
• Maintain comprehensive repositories of teaching materials, student work and artefacts for knowledge sharing and long‑term asset management.
• Conduct class observations, participant interviews and feedback mechanisms to assess learning outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare analytical reports on programme effectiveness, KPI achievement and team performance to support strategic planning.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners and stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational goals and professional standards.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in programme development, education management or gifted education.
• Strong organisational, analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, service providers and external organisations.
• Commitment to ethical standards, quality assurance and evidence‑based decision making.
