About the role
A government outsourced contract position for a Project Assistant based in Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong. The contract runs from now until mid-April 2027, with working hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:18pm, 44 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for the relocation of the Public Works Central Laboratory to caverns
- Prepare periodic reports and returns
- Assist with general administration, personnel, accounting and training matters
- Manage inventory, disposal, purchase and maintenance of furniture and equipment
- Carry out clerical duties as directed
Required profile
- HKDSEE/HKCEE level 2 or above in 5 subjects including Mathematics, Chinese and English
- Chinese typing of at least 20 wpm and English typing of at least 30 wpm
- Polite, good telephone manner and interpersonal skills
- Relocation, administration, contract management or similar experience preferred
Required skills
- Knowledge of common business software such as MS Word and Excel
