Public Relations Manager

About the role

We are looking for an energetic, strategically minded Public Relations Manager to lead regional corporate communications, brand PR, and media relations across the Asia‑Pacific region, with a strong focus on Mainland China and Greater China markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute end‑to‑end PR and communication strategies across APAC, tailoring messages to local market nuances.
• Leverage an established network of trade, corporate, lifestyle journalists, editors, influencers and KOLs in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Greater China.
• Craft compelling narratives around sustainability, energy transitions and innovative beauty trends to position the company as an industry leader.
• Direct agency partners, manage press releases, organise media tours, press conferences, product launches and high‑profile industry events.
• Act as a key advisor during crises, preparing reactive statements, media Q&As and protecting brand reputation.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, corporate sustainability, legal and executive teams to ensure messaging alignment.
• Develop content strategies for Douyin, WeChat and Weibo that align with platform trends and increase reach.

Required profile

• 5–7 years progressive PR and corporate communications experience in Hong Kong or APAC, preferably with agency background.
• Direct experience managing PR campaigns in at least two of the following sectors: Energy, Sustainability/ESG, Beauty/Personal Care.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin (spoken & written); Cantonese proficiency is a plus.
• Proven, active contacts with business, sustainability, tech and lifestyle media in Greater China and Mainland China.
