RMA QA Engineer – Hong Kong

About the role

We are looking for an experienced RMA QA Engineer to join our Hong Kong Science Park office. In this position you will lead Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) quality operations for our datacentre and PCBA products, analysing failure data and collaborating across functions to resolve quality issues.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse RMA cases, drive timely approvals or rejections, and meet RMA turnaround time (TAT) targets.
• Partner with customer‑facing teams to address RMA inquiries, provide technical guidance, and escalate complex issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Customer Support to investigate systemic RMA problems.
• Develop and deliver RMA data analysis and reporting, highlighting trends, failure modes, and improvement opportunities.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to shorten cycle times and enhance the overall customer quality experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in customer quality, RMA operations, or quality engineering within the electronics industry.
• Hands‑on experience managing RMA processes for datacentre systems or PCBA manufacturing.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent written and verbal communication in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).

Required skills

• Root cause analysis, Pareto analysis, fishbone diagrams.
• Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems for RMA tracking.
• Programming/scripting: Python, VBA.
• Advanced Excel and JMP for statistical analysis.
