Senior Audit Associate

About the role

Acacia CPA Limited is seeking a Senior Audit Associate to lead and execute audit engagements for a diverse client base in Hong Kong. This full‑time position combines on‑site work with flexible work‑from‑home options, offering exposure to a range of industries and professional services.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit assignments, including testing internal controls and detailed substantive procedures.
• Review financial statements to ensure compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, reviewing their work for quality and accuracy.
• Liaise with clients to understand their business, discuss audit findings and prepare audit reports.
• Support tax and advisory functions as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as CPA or progress toward it.
• Relevant experience in external audit, preferably at senior or supervisory level.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting and audit software.
• Knowledge of Hong Kong financial reporting and tax regulations (advantage).
• Understanding of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
