Senior Cook

About the role

The Senior Cook will join Marriott International’s culinary team at Pacific Place, Hong Kong, delivering high‑quality dishes in a fast‑paced hospitality environment. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting food according to established recipes, quality standards, and safety guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, and measuring.
• Cook and assemble dishes following recipes, presentation standards, and food‑preparation checklists.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers safely and efficiently.
• Test food for doneness, monitor quality, and ensure correct temperature of appliances and dishes.
• Set up and break down work stations, serve food in proper portions, and maintain a clean, sanitized kitchen environment.
• Follow all company safety, security, and hygiene policies, reporting any incidents or maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with team members, communicate professionally, and support a positive work atmosphere.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant culinary experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 lb, and perform repetitive kitchen tasks.
