Senior DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes & OpenShift Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a leading Hong Kong‑based company. The role focuses on managing container platforms, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring reliable, secure operations across multiple Kubernetes clusters.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee deployment and management of Kubernetes, with a strong emphasis on OpenShift.
• Design, build and improve CI/CD pipelines supporting canary releases, blue‑green deployments and emergency rollbacks.
• Implement GitOps workflows using tools such as ArgoCD for automated application delivery.
• Set up monitoring and alerting using Prometheus and the ELK Stack to maintain system health.
• Maintain platform security through regular patching, vulnerability management and incident root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer or DevOps role.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance, ISO 27001 knowledge a plus.

Required skills

• OpenShift, Kubernetes, NGINX, Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD, Terraform.
• Scripting with Bash and Python.
• Monitoring with Prometheus and log aggregation via ELK Stack.
• Fundamental networking concepts.
