Senior Editorial & Communications Manager

About the role

The Senior Editorial & Communications Manager will be the guardian of dentsu Hong Kong’s voice, shaping narrative across internal and external channels. You will partner with senior leaders, creative teams and regional communications to deliver clear, compelling content that supports business growth and brand positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Define and uphold editorial standards, tone of voice and quality for all communications.
• Edit, refine and elevate written materials from various teams to ensure consistency and impact.
• Develop thought‑leadership articles, speeches, press releases and executive communications.
• Support internal communication initiatives, employee engagement programmes and regional messaging priorities.
• Provide English copywriting for campaigns, websites, presentations and client communications.
• Adapt Chinese‑language content into high‑quality English, ensuring cultural relevance for local and international audiences.
• Lead editorial development for award submissions, executive profiling and media‑facing thought‑leadership pieces.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in editorial, communications, publishing, journalism or agency environments.
• Exceptional English writing and editing abilities with a track record of producing executive‑level business communications.
• Proven skill in simplifying complex ideas into compelling narratives.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Strong understanding of content, marketing, social and communications disciplines.
• Background in bilingual Chinese‑English environments and familiarity with the Hong Kong and regional business landscape.
