Senior Engineer – Infrastructure Operations

About the role

The Senior Engineer – Infrastructure Operations will support the Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Lead in managing the company’s IT infrastructure, multi‑cloud services and Microsoft 365 environment across headquarters, manufacturing sites and overseas offices. The role bridges business users, internal IT teams and external vendors to ensure secure, reliable and cost‑effective operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage servers, storage, networks, cloud platforms and end‑user environments across all locations, defining standards, architecture, security controls and capacity plans.
• Coordinate regional teams and third‑party vendors for incident response, maintenance, upgrades, migrations, technology refreshes and service improvements.
• Oversee multi‑cloud governance, capacity planning, budgeting and cost optimisation for enterprise‑wide cloud resources.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Entra ID, Intune), handling accounts, licenses, permissions and security compliance.
• Lead end‑user computing lifecycle, including deployment of computers, mobile devices, printers, conferencing systems and Intune‑based endpoint management.
• Support IT procurement, asset lifecycle management and coordinate with finance and vendors for approvals, warranties and renewals.
• Assist internal and external IT audits, providing evidence, control testing and remediation tracking while applying information‑security best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure operations, systems administration or end‑user support within a multinational enterprise.
• Fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required skills

• Hands‑on administration of Microsoft 365 components: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Entra ID, Intune.
• Experience with multi‑cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and OCI.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, networking and endpoint management.
• Familiarity with ITSM/ITIL tools like ServiceNow or Jira Service Management.
