Senior Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Senior Human Resources Manager will report to the Head of HR for Greater China and act as a trusted partner to business leaders. This role combines strategic HR planning with hands‑on execution across the full employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with department heads and senior leaders to provide proactive HR advice aligned with business objectives.
• Coach managers on talent management, employee relations, organisational effectiveness and workforce planning.
• Support leadership development, talent reviews and succession planning.
• Design and deliver learning programmes that boost management capability and employee performance.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, develop sourcing strategies and strengthen employer branding.
• Lead employee engagement, wellbeing and recognition initiatives, and act on survey feedback.
• Oversee annual HR processes such as manpower planning, budgeting, salary and bonus reviews, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies while leveraging HR data for insights.
• Drive cross‑border collaboration between Hong Kong and Mainland China offices to align people practices.

Required profile

• Well‑rounded HR generalist with strong business‑partnering capabilities.
• Sound commercial judgement and ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
• Proven experience working with senior stakeholders and influencing people‑management decisions.
• Exposure to senior management and ability to drive organisational effectiveness, talent development and employee engagement.
